Sunrise Debut EditionĀ it's the first deck designed by Fran CG from Sunrise Cards. This deck design was born from a constant redefine of the first concept made back in the summer of 2017. I wanted to design a deck that had a connection and representation along with minimalistics elements. The design is inspired by nature, specifically the sunrise at the sea. Personally I like minimalistic designs, but not so simplistic. I think that with this design I have achieved it in the best way combining minimalism, representative details, movement, depth and with a completely custom design forĀ Sunrise Debut Edition.
As a cardist and designer, color in playing cards is very important to me. People interpret colors in many different ways and in the card community, this can make or break a project. With this whole theme about the sunrise, I wanted to achieve a design that reflects it along with the summer vibes. After several tests of color combinations, pink & teal turned to me the perfect combination that proposes something new, unique and with that summer vibes!
Sunrise Debut EditionĀ was printed by the United Playing Card Company with a print run of 2,500 decks with their trademark crush stock and silver metallic ink (cards + tuck box). This deck will never be reprinted.
