Green Chafer Beetle in Resin

It has a hard metallic green shell and a distinct V-shaped scutellum (the small area between the upper wings.) These beetles are fast flyers that feed on flowers (especially roses) pollen and nectar. 

Chafer Beetles (Rhomborhina mellyi) can be found all over the world in a wide variety of colors.
